Burned out but oh is it awesome

Here are some nice things:

To begin will be a little look at our cafeteria. At the end of November we had a French Dinner which was awesome.

Here you can see... various cheeses, and good desserts and i fogot what we ate, but the point is, sometimes there are awesome themed dinners like that. Its usually pretty good, but then again, i'm not one to complain about food.

Kids can leave comments about their appreciation or displeasure of the cafeteria. I never really have complaints, but the comments get put up in this box with really cheesy and therefore really funny answers from a woman named Peggy. I really think this is neat, so i made a comment card showing how much i love the comment card box by taking this picture and taping it to the comment card. Revolutionary move.

Kresge 2, a very scary and little lab building. I don't mind, actually, its just not too impressive.

The sun came out for a brief moment the other day and i took this picture. Its usually pretty cloudy here. But so far, the weather hasn't changed my mood. I can't let that happen again.

And finally, Brendt and I went to see Al Franken, and since Brendt works at the movie theater where he was speaking, (across the street from his sponsor, the first Borders bookstore ever) and it was very very nice. He is funny and an interesting speaker. He didn't seem to have much of a plan, though. He just talked. I was happy to see that. He talked about getting rid of bush and how he might be a senator eventually. He also emphasized values and how they are very lacking in our government. Things like that.

can you imagine actually standing in front of a red curtain like that and the mic and the podium is just right there three inches away from you serving no purpose whatsoever than just separating your body from the crowd and holding up the technology that increases the volume of your voice. impressive. -nora
